The theme of the outsiders

I believe the theme is friends are always there for you when family isn't . I think this is the theme of the outsiders because in the book they are basically poor there family don't really soppourt them they weren't even really mentioned in the book .the socs were a gang that they were just to cockey when I say that it means like they were just show offs little brats They just mostly focused of them and didn't care if the Greasers had feeling or not they only cared of there territory and them getting hurt they don't care if they are poor they don't care what happens to them . Socs really just jugde them, when there both the same they are human and if they see the, struggling of money or food they should of just helped them out i mean like they are all human they should treated each other more fair

What I mean In this theme is like true friends we'll have your back when stuff is going down. You cannot call somebody a true when he backstabs you or doesn't have your back or gets you into to much trouble.  This theme goes well with The Outsiders because in the book the author doesn't even mention there parents just Jonnys and the three brothers. This theme is the book because all the Greasers are family, brothers, they help, care for each other they trust each other that's really family. When Johnny made that mistake on killing bob  they didn't just leave Johnny alone they went with him. Those were a couple of reasons why I think that was the theme for this book
